PROJECT DETAILS

My bachelor project for graduating from a fashion design course at AMD Berlin. It questions how much dystopia a society needs to take responsible steps for creating a better world and how much escapism one can allow living a happy life.

This project aims to remind people of finding the right balance between political activism and personal fulfillment.

All garments are designed and created by me. Working as sustainable as possible has the highest priority - therefore I invented my own bioplastic, designed prints for recycled lycra fabric, and used natural dyeing techniques.

The identity of this collection highlights the difference between the utopia and dystopia dichotomy. Sensory posters that directly speak to the viewer, chrome fonts, and a photoshoot that reminds of golden times in the past create an electric experience.

Two editorials with a minimalistic arrangement of contrasting imagery let the reader discover their own feelings regarding positive and negative incidents around the globe.
